Difficulty in Monitoring Implementation Status

BookMyShow was facing 2 major problems while implementing Google Analytics 360 for their website and mobile application.

  • They weren’t able to gather accurate data for analysis in a standardized format
  • There was also a need to develop an automatic mechanism to monitor the tracking implementation status

Approach to Solution

Automating Configuration of Google Tag Manager with DLAT

DataLayer Automation Tool (DLAT) is developed by Tatvic for automating the configuration of Google Tag Manager data layers. It offers an efficient way to create a tracking requirement for managers & provides the exact snippets to be pushed on the web/app to resp. developers via email. With this tool, we were able to solve these issues at one go.

DLAT has a simplified interface where all the stakeholders like developer, tester & manager can interact and manage the status of different implementations. DLAT Dashboard provides an overall status of the implementation to the manager and respective action items can be managed easily.
