Often the eCommerce sites understand conversion rate but that conversion rate is never broken down by different products to understand which products can be optimized for pricing, advertising etc. If we do understand which products convert better & how frequently, it becomes very important information to take decision on inventory & pricing of the product.

Approach to Solution


With google analytics custom implementation using Google Tag Manager, we carry out implementation to understand product meta data in form of user’s action.i.e. we can identify product add to cart, product views, product remove from the cart using Google Analytics. This way we can identify products which have more demand.

Results


With the improved data collection mechanism, we can identify & prioritize the products which should be placed better for merchandizing. We can also identify & improve inventory realization of e-commerce stores to ensure that the precious inventory $s are not locked into the inventory.
