Any conversion of lead generation website is driven by the engagement that occurs of visitors with the content of the website. Therefore, to understand the conversion we have to understand the engagement of the website. With engagement analysis as a pre-cursor to conversion rate analysis, it is imperative to understand &draw co-relation between engagement & conversion of visitors to the lead.

Approach to Solution


For the engagement index we adopt simple regression model with independent variables that provides indicators for engagement like time on site, # of pageviews per visits and more advance like # of clicks, active content consumption & passive content consumption.

Results


As a outcome of Engagement analysis, it is possible to understand which content item drives the consumption. Identifying that content & its type will lead to better content generation. Additionally knowing the co-relation of engagement & conversion will allow you to measure engagement in systematic & regular basis to ensure engagement is measured as one unit and not the multiple units.
